About The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support legal operations tasks for senior leaders and attorneys with day-to-day business activities. The business analyst responsibilities include working with legal expense management tools such as Legal Tracker, COUPA, SAP, SharePoint & Microsoft tools. Liaising with various functions across the business including the Accounts Payable, SAP Data Stewards and COUPA teams from an operations aspect to streamline issues/concerns. Working in conjunction with other support functions and key points of contacts.

A successful business analyst should be highly organized and have a versatile skill set to support a variety of different business functions with a diverse range of tasks.


About The Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expense management of the end-to-end invoice process (Legal Tracker)

oValidating expenses in connection with approved billing guidelines
oApproving daily invoices updated by Law Firms
oPosting invoices to the correct matters
oUploading and updating new Matters
oProviding law firms access to designated matters
oSubmission of weekly upload to Accounts Payable

  • Excellent COUPA knowledge

oRaising Purchase Orders
oPosting Good Receipts (GR)
oCoordinating with AP for Invoice Receipts (IR)
oCoordinating with Law team members to set up Vendors
oClosing fully consumed POs in a timely manner

  • Excellent SAP knowledge
  • Responsibility for process maintenance, documentation, and information management.
  • Execution of business analysis and generation of reports.
  • Control and tracking of invoicing, status reports and data management.


About The Requirements
