Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and support on monthly & quarterly reports. Develop dashboards by understanding Business specifications and translating them into automated modules wherever possible.
- Prepare the reports for monthly/ quarterly analysis like ceded reinsurance recoveries, Open claims, Credit Control, etc.
- Develop and automate the existing and new reporting requirements, keeping them standardized, but flexible enough to incorporate last minute changes and adjustment in fast moving reporting environment
- Support the designing, modeling and maintenance of operational metrics dashboard for Ceded Re function
- Manage the data extraction and report running out of various operational reporting tools and databases including Reinsurance Datamart (RDM), Cognos, MIS, etc.
- Participate in projects as required to ensure that all potential impacts to financial data are identified and managed effectively
- Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all the reports prepared
- Maintain strong communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and manage expectations.
- Intermediate to advance knowledge of MS office tools like Excel, VBA, SQL (Pivot, charts etc.) is a must.
- Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills and ability to analyze and manipulate huge volume of financial and operational data
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Makes recommendations to management on new processes, tools and techniques, or development of new products and services
- Possesses skills and awareness and consistent basic project management, analytical and application skills
- Consistently determines and executes basic research and/or referrals independently
