Senior Data Engineer I, Business Intelligence

As we develop an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us toward greater focus on the use of data and strengthen our digital, AI capabilities, we are seeking a Global Lead, Data Science and Applied AI. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of Data Science and Applied AI projects, products and platforms that seek to yield a significant business benefit, build our competitive advantage and help differentiate in the market through execution on innovation.

- Bachelor or Masters degree in computer science or a related field.
- Good experience in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Services
- Experience with the design and implementation of the required toolset – Microsoft Power BI
- Experience with underlying data connections from both source systems and static data sources, inclusive of API’s (i.e. using Power BI’s API function)
- 1+ years PowerBI report development experience, including DAX and M Query
- Experience with data modeling and ETL within Power BI.
- 1+ years of relevant work experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience delivering a presentation layer to produce graphs, charts, maps and drill down reports.
- Ability to work with the end users in a iterative (Agile) fashion to both produce the required artefacts
- Able to self manage and seek out solutions proactively without oversight
- Thought process on improvising the legacy process and should collaborate with other functional teams to move the legacy process on new platform/dashboards.
- Performing analysis and understanding the need of the change and ensuring that the changes have been correctly implemented into the regular BAU reports/dashboards.
- Make sure the delivery of regular BAU reports/dashboards on time and should adhere the SLA’s and should not be compromised with the quality of report/dashboard.
- Able to understand the numbers and quickly identify the issues within the reports
