Senior Data Analyst I, Strategic Demand Management

As we develop an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us toward greater focus on the use of data and data driven insights, we are seeking a Scientist, Strategic Demand Management. In this role, you will contribute to the maturing of Data Delivery and Operations.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Assist in managing the intake of Client and or Insurance data demand requests by tracking via the ticket management system.
- Analyze Client and or Insurance data domain adhoc data requests.
- Assist with coordination of data and or resource demand activities across various divisions within DIA / AXA XL / AXA organization.
- Contributes to the assessment of estimates and resource needs as well as creation of business cases.
- Contribute to continuous enhancements of a one demand intake process across DIA.
- Assist in preparation of demand metrics on key measures, promoting better decision making by DIA leadership.
- Support SDM management in the planning and prioritizing of business demand and resource capacity on an on-going basis.
- Monitor effectiveness of current processes and make recommendations to Division Lead that will improve operations and streamline processes.
- Instill a customer-first attitude, prioritizing service for our business stakeholders above all else
In this role, you will report to the Division Lead, Strategic Demand Management.
Required Candidate profile
Weโre looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Understands department, division, and corporate strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas
- Developing competency with basic analytical and application skills. Independently determines and executes basic research
- Basic level of experience/ability to influence; beginning to understand business problems and agile (or D3) problem solving methods
- Aptitude for analytical problem solving and process improvement
- Innovative mindset
- Results driven and detail orientated
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Builds trust and rapport within and across groups
- Proficient experience in MS Excel pivots or similar reporting tool to generate metrics to understand demand, resource capacity and or portfolio health
- Data wrangling and analysis experience preferred
- Familiarity with resource forecasting and capacity planning preferred
- Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Planview preferred
- A minimum of an Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in a data role (analytics, specialist, or engineer)
- Good presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management and customer interaction
- Passion for data and experience working within a data driven organization
- Ability to work with team members across the globe and across departments
