The Senior Software Engineer will be an integral part of our growing product team, solving challenging engineering problems quickly and efficiently, and creating frameworks and API’s. They will bring expertise as a hard-core agile .NET developer to a growing and innovative organization and will play a key part in machine learning. You will collaborate with software engineers and product managers to create sufficient artificial intelligence algorithms, where “effective” means that specific outputs can be traced back to particular inputs.

Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level programming for next generation application based in C# and .NET Core, relational databases and distributed n-tier application platforms
- Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation of modified or new technologies and / or frameworks
- Maintain and apply strong understanding of business practices to effectively fulfill responsibilities while working on multiple high-priority tasks
- Play an active role in the design and development of new code
- Participate in scrum agile development process
- Creating AI algorithm prototypes based on specifications
- Running tests to assess AI performance
- Analyzing data gathered during tests to identify strengths and weaknesses of AI
- Implementing changes to algorithms to improve AI performance
- Troubleshooting and addressing problems with deployed AI to improve user experience
- Documenting all steps in the development process
- Remaining up to date on the latest innovations in machine learning
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years’ experience developing with .NET and C# (including experience with .NET Core)
- Extensive experience with .NET, C# and technologies such as WEB API
- Workable knowledge of machine learning data structures and modeling, software architecture, libraries, and frameworks to create AI that accomplishes outlined goals
- Strong mathematics skills, especially in statistics, to create algorithms
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret test results and performance metrics
- Creative thinking skills to come up with new solutions and approaches
- Sound problem-solving skills to refine prototypes and troubleshoot performance issues
- Entity Framework
- Strong SQL skills

Familiar with TDD, be able to write unit tests for existing and new code
- Flutter experience is a plus but not required
- Microsoft Azure experience is nice to have
- Experience with SOA, Web Services and large distributed systems
- Strong understanding of design patterns
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to solve technical and business problems
