Introduction:
To provide support to identify, quantify, plan and control business analysis related activity in order to support the high performance delivery of multiple migration. ensuring the application modernisation/migration are delivered consistently using standard methods and procedures whilst providing visibility of key change events and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders and limiting service impact. Work Closely with a 3rd party counterpart to ensure the smooth migration of applications as part of the change process.
What will you be doing?
- Ongoing Data analysis to support project objectives and inform direction
- Undertake & leverage data analysis for identification of opportunities and recommending options, and associated costs
- Production of Management Information to support project reporting
- Stakeholder analysis
- Business partner collaboration to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs
- Support the PM for business case / project charters
- Business process analysis & improvement
What we’re looking for:
. Understanding of Cloud Domain/Requirement Gathering and management concepts and practices:
. Experienced at implementing or managing requirement processes and tools
- Actively identifies and mitigates risks while delivering schedules of change
- Advocates best practices utilising supporting tools and processes relating to requirement management
- Has a wide network within the organisation and shows integrity while addressing challenging situations
- Raising and Co-ordinating changes for the Migrations and facilitating customer engagement
- Raising change records on Barclays current toolset (ServiceNow) and manage them through the standard change management process to completion
- Work closely with the migration manager and implementation as required to deliver effective changes that have no impact on service
- Representing changes at Change Advisory Boards (CABs) and ensuring business approval
- Deal with change rejections and arbitrate conversations to achieve approval
- Review implemented changes to ensure they have met their objectives.
- Complete service mapping activities to ensure changes gain necessary service approvals
Skills that will help you in the role
- Broad IT domain experience and basic understanding of information technology and business concepts
- Familiarity with general business functions
- Demonstrate analytical skills
- Demonstrate ability to manipulate data in MS Excel; proficient with MS Suite of applications
- Demonstrate a desire to learn innovative techniques to analyse data.
- Awareness of and ability to apply BA techniques and tools.
