As a part of this team, the resource will be responsible for
- Use standard incident and change management processes while working on technical tasks related to build and maintenance of environments
- Implement and maintain compliance against predefined Service Acceptance Criteria for every project that engages the team.
- Assist in the build of solutions to support efficient, maintainable, secure and resilient Environment management processes for build, test, production and DR environments.
What will you be doing?
- Support to resolve Incidents & Changes for EaaS Environment Support by adhering to respective individual processes.
- For projects that have engaged with team, understand the requirements and work along with other Environment managers to review and finalize scope of work.
- Undertake E2E vulnerability management for supported projects.
- Oversee Support service offerings for Non -production environments such as Break Fix infrastructure support, support implementation schedules of planned outages due to Change driven by GTSM, Infrastructure upgrade and patching, Auto-monitoring and alerting of test infrastructure issues.
- Maintain up-to-date documents related to environment demand management.
- Undertake daily, weekly and monthly report creation.
- Co-ordinate work between test teams and the various application support teams responsible for providing environment support.
- Ensure no single point of failures in the team and there is continuity in providing the required services for the customers.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and demands while maintaining excellent client relationships.
- Foresee risks and support risk management solutions as appropriate.
- Experience in Environment Management, Incident management and, Change management
- Have a good understanding of common infrastructure components, how they fit together and interact.
- Demonstrate understanding and value of effective monitoring and alerting.
- Be calm under pressure, intelligent and articulate with a strong telephone manner.
- Demonstrate examples of innovation and enhancement.
- Maintenance of review records and preparation of Metrics.
What we’re looking for:
- Proficiency on Office tools like MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Visio, MS-Outlook or any other similar products.
- Linux shell BAU commands & Windows OS knowledge.
- ITIL Conceptual and Practical knowledge to create incidents, change Records and Problem tickets.
Good to have Qualifications:
- Scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, SQL, PL/SQL etc.
- Experience in maintaining and extending VBA macros.
- Linux and/or Windows System administration and engineering experience, specifically RedHat Linux & Windows.
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Any Degree, preferably in computer science
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Any Infrastructure domain certifications
- Experience of any Core Banking applications
