- Responsible for the provision of management information relating to Digital Banking and administration of Digital Banking’s web analytics system.
- Crunch the data and present results to senior stakeholders via various reports, dashboards, key business performance indicators and insight deep dives, Automation.
- Evangelise and diffuse knowledge of web analytics across the team to foster a culture of analysis.
- Identify key drop off points in customer sales and service journeys, making recommendations expected to generate valuable improvement to the digital business area.
Production & Analysis of MI (35%)
- Responsible for the proactive development and delivery of accurate and efficient MI.
- Optimise efficiency of information delivery and reporting related processes.
- Proactively research and assess current business MI, and determine best practice/investigate possible improvements in the manipulation and presentation of customer information.
- Develop subject matter expertise in the area of digital analytics.
- Be the first line of support for digital stakeholders’ analytics demands.
- Own and manage the demand pipeline for the analytics requests submitted via the support centre. Prioritising business requests and delivering against tight deadlines
- Deliver insight and data to support on-going business cases and desisioning by UK product owners.
- Deliver tagging guides for new propositions to ensure that data is collected in way that can then be turned into effective insight
- Act as the ‘conscience’ for the digital directorate, challenging sub-optimal product performance and making recommendations to improve.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, service partners (e.g. Segments, Marketing, Product, other Group e-Teams etc.) and internal/external suppliers. Pursue your own development to increase personal effectiveness, acknowledging and maximising strengths and addressing areas of development.
- Contribute to the wider development of Digital strategy, products and services, working closely with Product, Channel, Corporate and Content Analysts.
- Contribute to the development of a “Centre of Excellent” for the performance of all digital products, including development of dashboards to power the digital business and inform the different trading councils.
- Create a sustainable competency in analysis and measurement, training up a network of practitioners across PCB.
- Regularly influencing and communicating to/with Manager and Head Of level
- Ensure effective risk and rigour management of all Digital Banking project activities.
- Ensure all analysis complies with appropriate governance frameworks, structures and processes in reference to Digital Banking projects. Ensure that mitigating and performance improvement actions are in place and clearly owned.
- Actively grow and maintain stakeholder links with all relevant risk partners and manage the delivery and operational risk (including security and fraud) related to projects.
- Ensure data authenticity and accuracy in making any analysis recommendations.
- Keep up to date with latest thinking on analytics best practice (i.e. conferences, courses, personal coaching, etc), ensuring that new tools and techniques are evaluated and adopted appropriately.
- Educated to BA/ BCA / BSc level as a minimum, preferably in a mathematical/ Computer science / business discipline.
- Skills in operating within digital analysis environment, using advanced analytics tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Strong understanding on Adobe Analytics, Data insights etc.
- Experience of working with 3rd party providers of Analytics / Tracking solutions.
- Knowledge of database architecture and of how to extract data in a meaningful way from them (e.g. through SQL (BIW1 & BIW2.0 Teradata Hive Impala queries).
- Experience of working in Analytics / Business Insights functions, providing bespoke as well as standardised reporting.
- Having good understanding on customer journey, provide insights to improve digital customer experiences on websites or apps.
- Experience on data visualisation tools and technologies like Tableau, Power BI, Workspace.
- Worked on Adobegoogle analytics tag testing and QA.
