    Introduction:

    To gather requirements and create detailed level design in the form of user stories/mapping sheets/interface requirement document and also review and sign off HLR’s and HLD’s in payment space.

    What will you be doing?

    The role holder will undertake the requirement analysis work, will work closely with various Business/Product/Operations stakeholders to gather and agree the demand, translate the demand into solution and detailed requirements. The role holder will be accountable for end-to-end solution, supporting the design during development and test phases, supporting proxy Product owner and/or Scrum Master role as required. The role also needs to ensure that the design is scalable, have futuristic view and align with the various tech domains.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Must have working experience in SDLC as well as Agile way of working
    • Must be proactive, self-organized and self-motivated person to derive the work independently and lead the design area as role model for the team members
    • Must be able to mentor the team members, guide them for the design work
    • Ability to prioritise, understand value and work with the product owner to align project delivery priorities with business priorities

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Must have experience in Payment domain and must be part of execution of large programmes end-to-end
    • Must have very strong Payments knowledge from a business, operational and technology perspective
    • Must have sound understanding of end-to-end Payment life cycle and workflows
    • Working knowledge of UK clearing system e.g. BACS, FPS, CHAPS, TARGET2, SEPA
    • Stakeholder management including working with business owners and external stakeholders
    • Must have functional knowledge of various Payment Message formats not restricted to SWIFT MT, ISO Messages, EDIFACT Messages
    • Must have technical knowledge to understand the code snippet, technical architecture, data model, executing queries on the database
    • Must have understanding and experience of architecture principles, design techniques
    • Must have understanding of concept of RESTAPI and able to define the API specifications with technical as well as functional details; should have experience on microservice based architecture
    • Sufficient technical depth to discuss designs with Technical / Infrastructure designers and data architects
    • Liaison with Business Stakeholders in developing Change requests/ prioritizing defects and conducting High Level IA.
    • Strong communication skills – verbal as well written
    • Working experience of Scrum Master and driving feature team
