Introduction:

Barclays achieve goals through projects that translate business needs into new products, services, and profits. System Analyst can make it all happen more efficiently and effectively.
This is a System Analyst with Barclays Partner Finance. The Purpose is design High Level and low level designs for Java applications, working in collaboration with Architect, Business Analyst and build team. Experience in JEE frameworks e.g. Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA or other ORM, AWS. Having Banking domain knowledge and have worked on Banking Projects.
What will you be doing?
- Collaboration with Solution Architect and Business Analyst and convert AV into High level and low level design.
- Technical Analysis of requirements and coming up the solution for build team.
- Reviewing and Creating Business and Technical Flow and documenting the same.
- Work along with the Scrum Team in Amigo and Sprint Planning
- Working alongside the developers and testers and reviewing the code and test cases for completeness of the requirement
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with primarily Engineering and Java Application Development roles in financial institutions
- Proven IT experience; deep understanding and implementation of IT business strategies
- Leader of software development teams focused on design, development and delivery of client facing platforms, micro services, API gateways and enterprise technology platforms
- Expertise in Java Enterprise application architecture, Micro services, Full stack web development, Database design and modelling and Cloud deployments.
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Hands on experience in JEE frameworks e.g. Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA or other ORM frameworks. Hands on experience on Web Services (SOAP, REST).
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking mind-set
- Strong Stakeholder Management, able to communicate at all levels and drive wider collaboration.
- Excellent people management skills including workload delegation and training/development.
- Business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges with the ability to advise, implement and apply the appropriate tools/processes to meet these challenges.
- Define and drive strategy and best practice
- Ability to decide on better technical options and drive the adoption at organization level.
