Hybrid Working
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction:
- Working in capacity of Tech Data Analyst reporting to overall Data delivery lead in the project and responsible for ensuring that end to end process is aligned with the project objectives.
- Monitor data quality, identify issues, perform RCA to drive issue remediation
- Create and execute comprehensive test cases for complete coverage of all referenced data specifications to ensure expected DQ and performance results are achieved.
- Drive innovation through good understanding of data, business drivers and business need.
- Contribute to tactical and strategic solutions approach and design
- Perform data validation throughout issue or new implementation lifecycle including SIT and UAT phases
- Coordinate & Communicate effectively with the other IT development teams, delivery lead, PMs and cross-functional stakeholders
- Drive automation of data analysis, DQ checks and controls and establish DQ visualization framework
What will you be doing?
- Accountability, Decision making and problem solving.
Work with the RFT project team globally and escalate any data issues, roadblocks or project risks to the Program Delivery Lead
Conduct DQ reviews with analysts, developers and other stakeholders
Work with the technology teams and take responsibility for the timely implementation of the solution.
Writing business/functional requirements, data specification and test plan documents adhering to predefined standards.
- Stakeholder management and leadership – Communication Responsibilities
Communicate directly with business analysts, project managers, and users understanding detailed business requirements at all stages of the SDLC
Communicate effectively with the internal IT development teams and the local development manager.
Work closely with global team members in US and London – participating in and contributing to technical and business discussions.
What we’re looking for:
o 8+ years of experience with strong Data analysis, cleansing, preparation, modelling, Data Quality and analytics
o Knowledge of Excel, Visualization tools, Databases/SQL ETL, Reporting tools such as Microstrategy/Cube
o Sound problem solving ability, detail oriented, organizational skills and acumen managing multiple priorities and timelines.
o Hands-on roll-up sleeves attitude, self-starter, ownership, strong team player with ability leading others
Skills that will help you in the role:
o Experience in Financial Services/Market Risk functions, familiarity with Capital markets products
o Knowledge of Automation tools (e.g Unix Scripts, DB, Python) and Ab-initio
