We have immediate openings for Senior Software Engineer – Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning with 5 plus yrs of relevant experience, based at Chennai.
Roles and Responsibilities
Data scientists work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how data can be used to achieve those goals. They design data modelling processes, create algorithms and predictive models to extract the data the business needs, and help analyze the data and share insights with peers. While each project is different, the process for gathering and analysing data generally follows the below path:
- Statistical analysis: Identify patterns in data. This includes having a keen sense of pattern detection and anomaly detection.
- Machine learning: Implement algorithms and statistical models to enable a computer to automatically learn from data.
- Computer science: Apply the principles of artificial intelligence, database systems, human/computer interaction, numerical analysis, and software engineering.
- Programming: Write computer programs and analyze large datasets to uncover answers to complex problems. Data scientists need to be comfortable writing code working in a variety of languages such as Java, R, Python, and SQL.
- Data storytelling: Communicate actionable insights using data, often for a non-technical audience.
- Business intuition: Connect with stakeholders to gain a full understanding of the problems theyre looking to solve.
- Analytical thinking. Find analytical solutions to abstract business issues.
- Critical thinking: Apply objective analysis of facts before coming to a conclusion.
- Inquisitiveness: Look beyond whats on the surface to discover patterns and solutions within the data.
- Interpersonal skills: Communicate across a diverse audience across all levels of an organization.
- Interact with a multi-disciplined team to innovate novel solutions for future products
- Drive development and design of next generation technologies and new products

Desired Candidate Profile
Must have 3+ years of actual development experience using Python with various data science tool-kits and ML libraries such as NLTK , pandas, scikit-learn, SciPy, NumPy etc
- Write computer programs and analyze large datasets to uncover answers to complex problems. Data scientists need to be comfortable writing code working in a variety of languages such as Java, R, Python, and SQL.
- Must have deep understanding as well as a developer in at least one of the well known open source AI’s like Tensorflow or PyTorch
- Experience in one of the upcoming technologies like deep learning, NLP, image processing, recommender systems
- Experience in working with Linux computing •
- Deep knowledge of techniques such as Linear Regression, gradient descent, Logistic Regression, Forecasting, Cluster analysis, Decision trees, Random Forests & SVM, Linear Optimization.
- Experience in Chatbots, Robotics is an added advantage.
