- Collaborate with the Compensation Director on a variety of projects, including program design, analysis, modeling and implementation of new programs and improvement of existing programs
- Track, administer, and report on firm-wide compensation trends and people data trends
- Assist with streamlining compensation programs and business processes
- Set standards for developing reports and distribution methods
- Responsible for maintaining Variable Incentive plan calculation files and providing calculations on a quarterly basis. This includes reviewing billable hours for new and existing professionals, tracking professional data, updating the files with the appropriate information and providing forecasts for full year payouts
- Provide incentive and compensation trend analysis to ensure leaders have all relevant information to make the appropriate decisions
- Partner with the Business Insights team to develop Compensation and People Data reporting in Power BI
- Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Work with Payroll and IT teams to ensure that systems meet compensation needs and are updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs, etc.
- Provide internal and external benchmarking data to Recruiting team to assist with candidate offers
- Research and report on market data information to assist in determining external equity and share current compensation trends
- Work with Finance to ensure accurate calculations of expenditures in compensation for budget planning and tracking
- Strong data analysis, modeling, and visualization skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to understand and communicate data and trends
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience writing macros and/or other methods of automating data
- Basic awareness of compensation system design
- Ability to collaborate with others and build strong rapport and relationships with peers at all levels
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate independent thinking, good judgment and mature business skills
- Must be a self-starter with ambition and drive to perform above and beyond expectations
- Experience using Workday (HCM) software preferred
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting is strongly preferred
- Experience in Compensation-related work is a plus
