JOB DESCRIPTION:
- 2 to 5 years of Experience in Data-Oriented application development and Support or Sustaining role, demonstrating strong SQL expertise, familiarity with Data Warehouse, Data Model and Data Integration concepts
- Hands-on experience with any of the ETL tools (Datastage, Informatica, Talend, SSIS ), preferably IBM Datastage
- Expert in SQL programming and experience working with relational databases, as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases (Oracle/Postgres/Teradata/MySQL)
Preferred:
- Experienced in analyzing business requirements, defining the granularity, source to target mapping of the data elements, and full technical specification.
- Proficient in writing, implementing and testing of triggers, procedures and functions in PL/SQL and Oracle.
- Experience in working with Cloud Datawarehouse ecosystems like Snowflake
- Hands on experience in AWS ecosystem for Data ingestion, Storage, Processing services like Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Lambda, Step functions, EC2, EMR, Athena, SNS, RDS,DMS etc
- Experience working in data engineering using Python on Cloud platforms like AWS. Proficient in programming in Python. With experience of packages like pandas, numpy, boto, s3fs, flask, fastapi, pyarrorw, pyspark etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills to understand complex structured and/or unstructured datasets and their relationships to find issues and provide programmatic solutions.
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborative personality with experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Ability to technically collaborate with product engineers and customer support teams while troubleshooting customer escalations.
- Ability to coordinate and aggressively follow up on incidents and problems, perform diagnosis, and provide resolution to minimize service interruption

EXPERIENCE
- Experience of ETL and SQL experience
- 1+ years of python experience
- 1+ years of AWS and unix experience.
- Preferred certifications:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Certified DataStage Professional
- Python programming certification
