Detailed Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Deputy Administrator and in conjunction with the Product Manager,
you will support the Division of Safety and Permanence by gathering end user feedback,
developing user requirements and documentation for report and application enhancements, and
by advocating for users’ needs throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather user feedback and develop user stories and requirements (30%)
– Lead/attend feedback sessions, workgroups
– Follow through on feedback, bug reports, and enhancement requests
– Develop business process workflow maps
– Develop user stories and requirements for application and report
Enhancements
– Review and prioritize feedback
- Develop documentation and training materials (20%)
– Maintain articles and job aids on the Child Welfare Worker Portal and
Knowledge Web
– Draft communications and release notes highlighting new features
– Liaise with training partners to ensure training materials meet users’ needs
- Manage and track projects related to modernization and streamlining (20%)
– Coordinate and track updates of forms and templates
– Support data and analytics modernization and transition projects
- Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing (15%)
- Participate in design and project meetings (15%)
Development of business requirements for software, business process maps, business process re-engineering 10
Familiarity with software development and reporting industry standards and best practices; able to analyze and
develop recommendations and cost/benefit analyses 10
