Position Overview:
Bechtel is seeking for a Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst with 3-4 years of experience who will be responsible for end-to-end BI & Visualization solutions development and project delivery. He or She would also be able to articulate and architect the solution effectively to bring-in the values which data analytics & visualization solution can deliver.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ø Developing dashboards and reports using Power BI and SSRS.
Ø Supports the reporting application development, enhancement, and maintenance.
Ø Focus on providing cost effective reporting solutions.
Ø Think strategically about the uses of data and ability to navigate various data sources, like non manual and manual data, and finally execute Power BI and or SSRS reports.
Ø Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Service the needs of many varied internal and external clients.
Ø Build solutions that comply with company software quality assurance/ quality control and software engineering standards.
Ø Develops professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard information systems methodology, techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Ø Interacting and working with globally distributed teams and customers.
Ø Understanding and analyzing client requirements and propose technical solutions for the requirements.
Ø Analyzes, maintains, and implements (including performance tuning) existing reporting applications and develops programming specifications from business requirements.
Ø Creation and maintain of architecture document, design specification, test plans for the applications.
Ø Promotes automation, standardization, best practices, and code reuse for the application development.
Ø Should have the ability to work effectively with minimal direction and supervision as well as work on a team and balance work among different players.
Ø Should have the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, prioritize and manage open workload, report deviation from plan in a timely manner.
Ø Knowledge of Azure data factory and developments of pipelines in the ETL process would be an added advantage.
Ø Knowledge sharing with other team members
Ø Communicate effectively across internal teams and with key stakeholders, developing business acumen and cultivating relationships
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or Computer Science or a related field plus 6 years of relevant experience (instead of degree).
3 + years of experience in developing Microsoft Power BI reports is a must
2+ years of experience analyzing data with SQL and PL/SQL is a must.
Experience in developing SSRS reports will be an added advantage
