Job description:
The candidate should be able to plan and manage logistics, transportation, and customer services. Praising and negotiating with transporter, store partner and customers. Lead the team effectively to meet the organizations goal. The candidate shall be focused and need to have effective communication skills. Should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing partners/retailers and drive business metrics (customer complaints, on time delivery, asset tracking, vehicle utilization)
- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
- Negotiate rates with the transporter and identify new transport vendors
- Optimize the vehicle cost by maximum utilization of the inter hub vehicles
- Manage and develop logistics team under him
- Coordinate with retailers & maintain good relationship with them
- Think critically when planning to assure project success
