About the Role
The Full-Stack Developer will join a Data Science team developing a Trial Data Collection System that supports experimental/Clinical Trials conducted by BioIntellisense. We are looking for someone who has experience of building Secure Web Applications using modern JavaScript frameworks likes React, Angular and Vue and building RESTful APIs with Python. The ideal candidate will have sound understanding and hands on experience with complete Software development Life Cycle with emphasis on UI/UX and APIs development. The candidate will join a global team of 10+ high-performing engineers building a secure ad centralized data platform to support an expanding set of internal users and a growing volume and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design a Relational and No-SQL Data Model to store Trial Data.
- Develop and maintain web application to collect Clinical Trial Data for BioIntellisense expertiments
- Develop and maintain the APIs required to create, read and update the Clinical Trial data according to the requirements.
- Participate in Requirements gathering sessions to understand the Workflows and Data to be captured for Clinical/Experimental Trials
- Use OAuth2 and OIDC to authenticate and authorize the users of the trial management Web Applications and APIs
- Use Modern Web Application Frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular or Vue along with HTML and CSS to build Trial Management Application User Interface
- Build Responsive User Interface to be adaptable to screens of various sizes/resolutions
- Ensure the Front end and API code follows the industry best practices using Code Quality Tools such as Linters, Sonar.
- Develop unit and integration tests for Web Application and APIs to ensure
- Create Cloud based infrastructure to host the Web Application and database using Infra as Code (Terraform)
- Create CI/CD Pipelines to automate build and deployment of application artifacts
- Troubleshoot, debug and fix issues reported by users and testers
- Work with Data Engineering team to ensure the Trial data is securely and seamlessly shared with the Data Lake.
- Design and maintain data imports for legacy trials into the new Trial Management application
Requirements:
What We Are Looking For
- BS in computer science, mathematics, engineering, information systems, or related field
- 5+ year of work experience as a Full Stack Engineer developing and hosting cloud based Web applications
- Strong understanding and experience of Software Development life cycle
- Strong understanding and experience using Software engineering and design principles to develop mission critical applications
- Sound understanding of Cloud Computing and Security concepts
- Experience of using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Moden Web Application Framework such as ReactJS, Angular of Vue.
- Experience of designing Responsive Web User Interface using UX best practices.
- Experience of using Mocha, JEST or Jasmine for Javascript testing
- Strong understanding and experience of Front End build systems such as ESBuild, Webpack
- Strong Experience of developing RESTFul APIs with Python or NodeJS
- Experience of developing CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience of building Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a startup environment
Job Type: Full-time – Exempt
Salary Expectations: $120,000 – $140,000 (Based on location and experience)
