Job Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Managing Financial MIS in Pharma or related industry.
  • Strong exposure to MIS, Monthly PnL Quarterly B/S including foreign subsidiaries.

Job Qualifications:

  • 1. Chartered Accountant (Required).
  • 2. Any other certifications or diplomas or skills will be added advantage (Optional).

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • The position is responsible for conducting quantitative analyses on information available for sound business plans and operations on a strategic and micro level.
  • The MIS & Analytics Assistant Manager supports Senior Management, Operation and Finance team in Data Warehousing, Day to Day operations reporting, decision making and providing the base for operational and finance review, management dashboard etc.
  • The position deals with highly confidential financial and proprietary information and interacts with all levels of Senior Management, Tax, Development, Business Affairs, Legal and other business units of the Company.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly MIS with detailed working, Expense Variance of Biotech Group companies and assisting in providing data requirements as and when Managers asked.
  • Prepare monthly financial management reports including financial statement summaries and financial and operating KPIs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial planning and analysis function of;
  1. Budgeting for annual, quarter and monthly rolling basis and comparison with actuals.
  2. Detailed Sales Target review with required metrics at respective levels.
  3. COGS analysis- component-wise along with variance.
  4. Projected Segmented rolling P&L and BS on monthly basis and trends on working capital/fixed spending.
  5. Identifying key policies and finalizing SOPs, implementing and reviewing them regularly
  6. Ensuring authority matrix is followed and deviations are appropriately ratified.

  • Other Responsibility:
  • Review of – Clearing GL Account, Provisional Expenses, and Prepaid Expenses in SAP on a monthly interval.
  • Trade Payable Ageing- Prepare weekly & scrutiny for advances and payment.
  • Chart of Accounts- maintained- scrutiny of expenses- Every month
  • Expense Variance Analysis – Quarterly.
  • Assisting in the Closure and preparation of financial statements of the company and Subsidiaries.
  • Preparing Various Data For Different Requirements for Management, Statutory Auditors, and other departments.
  • Closing of Internal Audit observations every quarter.
  • Work on the SAP Automation Assignment with KPMG.
  • Communications with various stakeholders on various queries, data analysis and data built up.

Functional/Technical Skills:

  • Excellent command of MS Office (particularly Excel and MS PowerPoint).
  • Analytical tools SAP, Excel Advanced Skills, Costing & financial analytic domain and GAAP.

Planning & Organising:

  • The ability to establish a process for activities that lead to the implementation of systems, procedures or outcomes.
  • Defines plans and organizes activities necessary to reach targeted goals.
  • Organizes and utilizes resources in ways that maximize their effectiveness.
  • Implements appropriate plans and adjusts them as necessary.
  • Consistently demonstrates organization and detail orientation.
