Summary of the position
Master Data Management Analyst reports to the Master Data Management Lead and designs, develops, and supports the comprehensive high-level architecture, detailed functionality, compliance, and governance of solution options for all master data management data subject areas and reference data. This position works closely with various Application owners & administrators, technical and functional subject matter experts (SME), IS business partners, MIS teams, and data stewards. Manages, analyzes, and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the development of Enterprise Master Data quality standards for Corporate and External data
- Responsible for, and establishing, the required processes, audit schedule and reporting to be followed in improving, maintaining, and monitoring data quality.
- Be able to design and deliver metrics/KPIs to identify and report improvements in quality.
- Assess data quality as part of data migration activities.
- Define business rules and validations for all types of Master Data used in the organization.
- Ensure data quality issues are addressed at source and work with relevant stakeholder to drive through necessary actions e.g., embed pro-active data quality profiling in key source areas.
- Assess data maturity and create and implement the right ways of working to enable best practice data quality management.
- Identify appropriate training & process documents to be created and managed to deliver educational sessions to business and operations teams.
- Identify and implement the appropriate toolsets and applications to meet the team’s needs.
Qualification and Skill Set
Basic Qualifications:
- Relevant experience of 4 to 6 years in Master Data Governance & Data Quality
- Enterprise Master Data Governance (Salesforce, HRIS, Customer/Consumer Facing systems) and Information Steward experience is mandatory.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT/API based Integration patterns for Data Services.
- Experience in implementation of enterprise Data Quality toolsets and processes
- Good understanding of business processes related to manufacturing, financial and supply chain management.
- Extensive Business Process Analysis experience including GAP Analysis.
- Experience in both Product Information Management and Data Integration
- Experience with ticketing tool to support IT Operations, meeting SLAs and maximizing business continuity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline, MBA, or equivalent from premier institute

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Should be able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Attention to detail – Adept at developing accurate, professional written materials including presentations, training materials, and system/process documentation.
- Action orientated – Should be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
