Team Overview
The Index & Data Solutions team (IDS) is responsible for the index and market data strategy for the firm and the management of the commercial relationships with each provider. We are looking for a motivated and energetic new member of our IDS Operations team. This position will be mainly responsible for market data invoice reconciliation, issue & inquiry resolution, and spend inventory maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, be passionate about performance, embrace innovation and pride themselves on their attention to detail. Critical thinkers with a passion for optimizing processes and self-starters who thrive in challenging environments, are highly organized and can prioritize and respond with the appropriate sense of urgency are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities

Reconciling invoices for market data services in a timely manner

Maintaining spend inventory in line with contracts and billing requirements

Proactively addressing any gaps in the inventory

Engaging in regular meetings with key vendors

Providing reporting and analytics for internal stakeholders

Resolving any issues related to the setup, billing and payment

Constantly striving to improve the quality of data and build efficiency in existing processes

Leveraging available tools and platforms within BlackRock to create new scalable processes
Required Skills and Experience
-
Graduate or post-graduate degree in a related field or applicable work experience
-
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
-
Excellent time management and written and oral communication skills
Preferred Experience

Some working knowledge of financial markets

Experience working with Software as a Service (SAAS) tools

Advanced Excel knowledge, knowledge and coding experience with SQL, Python, Java, RPA

Data visualization experience

Our hybrid work model
