A day in the life
The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of sustainable reporting and analytic solutions. This position utilizes business intelligence technologies to develop meaningful reports, dashboards and/or visualizations to support data-driven decisions, new business insights, and innovative products and services
Your responsibilities will include
- Interprets and understands business needs, analyzes data, and communicates insights to stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
- Designs, develops, and maintains reports, dashboards, and/or visualizations using various business intelligence technologies.
- Leverages understanding of business processes and operational tools to create meaningful reporting designs and analytic solutions.
- Develops and updates documentation for reports and existing processes.
- Partners with and educates business leaders to support and implement high-quality, data-driven reporting and analytic solutions.
- Assists in continuous improvement efforts by adopting best practices, data standards and operational efficiencies across teams.
- Develops analytics solutions in alignment with enterprise data governance framework.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, Math, or related field
- 3 years of business intelligence, analytics, data mining, visualization development, report writing, or related experience
- Experience working with Tableau, SQL or other programming languages is strongly preferred
- Ability to think analytically
- Focus on completing tasks and goals in a timely manner and with quality
- Sense of creativity and initiative
Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards

Job Posting Policy
