Your Role

The Medicare Performance Optimization team is critical in achieving increased operational performance, membership growth, and retention goals for Consumer product lines. The Business Analyst, Consultant – Medicare will report to the Senior Manager, Medicare Performance Improvement. In this role you will proactively and creatively solve for business needs through enterprise-wide cross-functional collaboration to elicit, document, and define comprehensive business requirements through stories. This role will drive process development for highly complex projects and large-scale initiatives with significant impact to the business and/or system.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Partner and lead requirements analysis, acceptance testing plan development and verification with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze and translate business needs into consumable requirements for the technical teams and ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards
  • Provide analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations
  • Develop, prepare and analyze reports for management review, and present to various levels of management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to clearly document business needs as requirements/ user stories to ensure collaboration on clearly actionable outcomes and expectations
  • Conduct research, impact analysis, scope determination, and determine the level of effort to complete requirement elicitation and define the breakdown of tasks, resource loading, issue tracking, and resolution management
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in operational performance and escalate problems or identified issues that arise by providing detailed information, analysis, and investigation including recommendations and immediate decision making
  • Provide analytical support for multiple, highly complex cross functional projects simultaneously, establishes work plans and timelines, coordinates with internal and external resources
  • Work cross-functionally in analyzing, designing, and developing business solutions
