Position Purpose
ODIN is a datawarehouse application and it is changing its overall architecture and migrating to new efficient data model, Also few of the technical upgrade are due in this year. To cope up with increase in reporting demands we need to design new analytical CUBES. It demands senior technical expertise in the team, who can take up the responsibility to do overall architectural, design decisions, and can speed up the BAU as well as contribute to build the overall skills of the team to face the new challenges.
Responsibilities

- Participate in technical planning requirements gathering phases including design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting the application.
- Interface with key stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver requirements that reflect the needs of the business, and translate to detailed design specifications
- Lead in the creation, development, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of data models for databases, data marts, and data warehouses
- Develop methods to store, organize, and report data and incorporate development operations automation where appropriate
- Identify potential design, process and/or system changes to optimize performance, and mitigate risks
- Study data, identify patterns, make sense out of it and convert it to algorithms.
- Designs and plans BI, and other Visualization Tools capturing and analyzing data from multiple sources to make data-driven decisions, as well as debugs, monitors, and troubleshoots solutions.
- Carry out exploratory development to integrate new components into existing software.
- Propose new technical solutions and best practices, discuss and present their ideas in detail to stakeholders
- Prepare diagrams and exhibits to explain proposed system to managers and users in a clear format.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, profile applications tune SQL queries.
- Contribute to Architecture standards and best practices.
- Setup new / enhance the existing processes and create SOP.
- Contribute to the Release and Sprint planning.

- Oracle (+++) / T-SQL (+++) (preferably) – including optimization of stored procedures, queries
- Python
