About Businessline/Function :
Smart Data Analytics team is responsible for the Global Market Client Contribution and Global Markets Data. The unit looks after a number of different applications and technologies, and currently consists of 27 technology staff located in London, Paris and Chennai.
Client Contribution is a key area for IT as Senior Management and Marketers are looking to extract value from data in areas such as client profitability. We work very closely with the Data Office, Marketers, Traders, Management. One of the application of the unit is responsible for is the Client Contribution engine, centralize cross-asset client contribution calculation engine that utilizes a range of technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, C++ and Java.
With the Global Market transformation, the profile of the Smart Data Analytics team has changed with the integration of all the Global Market Client Contribution operational systems. As result, an opportunity has arisen for dynamic individuals to join the team. The consumers of this data and analysis are over 1000 global Front Office users including Sales, Trading, Research and Senior Management. We are a global team, with presence in EMEA, Americas and APAC. Position Purpose
The profile of the team has increased recently with the IT transformation within Global Market. As a result, an opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join this team.
The role will involve the following:

Responsibilities
- Work with users and other IT teams to take a business problem and turn it into an IT solution
- Write requirements and design specifications where necessary
- Contribute to planning and estimation of sprints, features and releases
- Integrate new data sources using SQL, SSIS and C#
- Use the appropriate data analysis tools to provide users with meaningful results
- Build automated acceptance tests using nUnit
- Provide 3rd level support, liaising either with the support team or with the business directly
- Contribute to the overall design and architecture of the system
- Contribute to the documentation
- Contribute to the testing and UAT phases
