Global Aerospace Safety Initiative IPT is seeking a highly Senior Global Aerospace Safety Business Intelligence Analyst to lead in designing complex Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives. This position will be based out of Seattle, Washington.

The leading candidate will have capabilities and strengths in the following areas:

  • Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data, summarize findings, and develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources

  • Ability to use extensive and well recognized expertise in a wide variety of areas related to business intelligence and associated methods

  • Knowledge of how to derive and allocate functional requirements to show traceability

  • Ability to model and analyze data from a computing technical and business process viewpoint

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work well with others as part of a diverse team


Position responsibilities

  • Lead develop a data dashboard to track key performance metrics for the Global Aerospace Safety Initiative team

  • Develop a business data infrastructure for the team

  • Support the enhancement and evolution of Boeing’s safety data ecosystem

  • Perform statistical analysis of operational safety data and provide recommendations

  • Leads in designing complex Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives.

  • Assesses current technology for best fit

  • Combines programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes


This
position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.


This position must
meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study

  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Agile, Scaled Agile, Framework or related frameworks

  • Experience working in a software development environment

  • Experience telling stories via data visualizations

  • Experience in a role that required outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and team skills


Typical Education & Experience:

Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 7 or more years’ or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $ 119,850- $ 162,150
