As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:
- Participate in the preparation, review and evaluation of software requirements and specifications
- Prepare written specifications for tasks of varied complexity from verbal requirements
- Use defined software lifecycle methodologies
- Review and implement test strategies for software products

Essential Requirements
- Good knowledge of programming languages; operating systems; databases; system, network, operating system, and application administration; tools and utilities, as applicable
- Knowledge of server, storage, networking and client technologies
- Ability to code/debug moderately sophisticated programs using design specifications
- Knowledge of software architectures and applications
- 3–6 years of related experience
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree

As a software engineer in the data access backend engineering team, you will be contributing towards building reliable and scalable services and features leveraging the big data ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to enhance your technical experience and be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Boomi’s data catalog and preparation platform, making it elastic and SaaS enabled.
Requirements:

3+ years of experience in developing production level enterprise software and back end components for web applications in Java.

Experience with relational databases and SQL processing.

Motivated self-starter who can work as part of a productive, fast-paced team
-
Open to communicating and debating ideas with the team.
Nice to have
-
Experience with data processing pipelines on Hive, Spark or related platforms.

Familiarity with REST APIs and a passion for building highly responsive UI interactions.

Experience programming with Python
You will:

Contribute to the design and implementation of the data access service in our platform.

Build on the connectors infrastructure and enhance the portfolio for application integration use cases.

Work with our QA and product teams to make sure our features evolve in the best possible way.
