Job Location: Atlanta, GA
Key Role:
Design and develop geospatial analyses, maps, data storage and management solutions, and technical documentation for public health projects. Apply specific software knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with the use and administration of ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and Server solutions
- Experience with statistical analysis in a professional work environment
- Experience with data visualizations for broad audiences
- Knowledge of web mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, or CSS
- Knowledge of server-side software, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcSDE, or ArcGIS Server
- Knowledge of data manipulation using statistical software, including SAS, R, or Python
- Ability to perform GIS data development and integrating enterprise geospatial applications into new and existing business processes
- Ability to troubleshoot desktop, web, database, and server problems
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with software products, including SaTScan, QuantumGIS (QGIS), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign, Google Maps or Google Earth, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Outlook
- Experience with programming and scripting
- Knowledge of advanced relational database concepts
- Knowledge of health science, epidemiology, and public health
- Master’s degree

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 65,000 to 95,000.
