Job Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL
The Challenge:
Are you searching for a position where you can use your project management and analysis skills to develop a project from concept to completion? A program requires a significant investment of limited resources. With that level of complexity, you need to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a program management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you’ll conduct program analysis functions, including developing program schedules, creating risk assessments, and monitoring vendor’s schedule performance in support of a US Air Force Acquisition Program Management Office. You’ll work with program leadership to monitor the cost, schedule, and performance of U.S. Air Force programs, using tools like Microsoft Project and RiskyProject. The real power of project management comes from communication, to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards.
You will monitor and report performance against baseline project plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met, including making recommendations for schedule performance improvement and risk avoidance to program leadership. You will analyze plans and requirements, perform in-depth studies to determine optimum scheduling models, and analyze program budgets and schedules to meet contractual and project requirements.
At Booz Allen, we recognize that we must continuously grow as a team to bring the best support to our clients, so here you’ll have all the resources to succeed. This is a chance to directly impact a meaningful mission, while growing your skills in program strategy.
