Job Description/Responsibilities
- As Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining database pipeline architectures for implementing AI solutions to meet the needs of our Digital Transformation solutions
- You will be responsible for all the processes from data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, creating pipelines, workflows, deploying and maintaining AI models in production cloud environment
- Take active part in the development of Industry 4.0 – Predictive Maintenance Platform and liaise with stakeholders to analyze business problems, clarify requirements, and define the scope of the resolution needed
- Create new data validation methods, and ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
- Responsible for extract, transform, and load processes from various data sources and databases both on-premise and cloud environments
- Responsible for maintaining relational and non-relational databases and related operations (creations of endpoints, APIs etc..) across the solution
- You’ll be working with complex systems, requiring you to have a high level of concentration and attention to detail.
- Work with other development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Mathematics or related fields.
Mandatory Requirements :
3 – 6 years of strong experience and in-depth knowledge in data Engineering for a wide variety of cases.
- Experience in creating data pipelines in Azure /AWS / On premise Platforms
- Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets
- Ability to connect engineering to data science
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of the following technologies: Linux, Docker, Git/GitHub
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a team
Desirable / Good to Have Requirements :
- 3+ years of experience in Python Programming in line with data engineering activities supporting Machine Learning and Deep Learning specialists
- Ability to write robust code in Python
- Proficiency of frameworks such as SciPy, Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow (or similar like PyTorch), scikit-learn, matplotlib/plotly/seaborn
- Familiarity in Multi-thread Python processing
- Knowledge of Cloud services (especially related to AI, such as Azure Machine Learning, ASW SageMaker)
- Experience in working with sequential data would be a plus
Good to have skiils
- Experience with Tableau, SQL, and other data science programming languages
- Experience in Cloud ML Platforms – Azure ML, AWS Kinesis and GCP Vertex AI
- Data frameworks – Hadoop
