The text analytics group at Research and Technology centre is focused on developing text analytics solutions to fundamentally change the way of deriving knowledge and domain specific insights from unstructured text, which can then be used as fundamental building blocks in domain specific down stream tasks.

We are seeking highly creative & motivated researchers to develop novel technologies that derive semantics from heterogeneous corpora of structured and unstructured data. You will work as part of a team to apply innovative solutions to solve real world problems in ways never attempted by others.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to perform foundational research, to take initiative, to work in international teams and the necessary development/implementation skills to accomplish the proof of concept.
Ph.D. from reputed Indian institutes (IITs, IIITs, IISc, etc.) or from a reputed international institute with good track record of publications in computer science. Ph.D. could be in any of the areas in:
- Natural Language Processing techniques
- Search and information Retrieval
- Unsupervised Techniques in Text Analytics
- Application of Deep Learning and NLP techniques for real world problem
1-5 years of research lab/industry/post doctoral experience with at least 1 year in the industry
- Expertise in at least two of the following:
- Language Modelling with Static or Contextual Embeddings
- Fundamental understanding of Language Models and techniques like: Word2Vec, Glove, BERT and Attention
- Application of Deep Learning architecture for NLP tasks like: Text Classification, Entity Extraction, Topic Modelling and Concept Detection
- Information Retrieval Techniques
- Strong skill in programming languages: Python
- Worked with NLP and Deep Learning libraries: NLTK, spaCy, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Gensim
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial skills/experience
- Knowledge of Software Architectures and design, Articulation of Ideas and Concepts would be an added advantage
