In a world where Data will be critical for BCGs success, BCG has founded a new cross-functional Agile team, the Global Data Tribe, to create first-class, foundational, enterprise-wide Data capabilities and products to enable better decision-making, generate new insights, attain operational excellence, and minimize firm risk across all BCG functions and teams.
The Global Data Tribe is looking for a Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst to be part of an Agile development team to deliver and support accurate, secure, trusted, uniform master data for the enterprise’s shared master data and reference data entities using the Informatica MDM SaaS platform. The curation and distribution of enterprise master data entities will power key analytical and operational use cases across the organization and is critical to ensuring a high level of quality and consistency across data platforms and consumers.
To realize this vision and strategy, the Analyst for Master Data Management will need to perform process and data analysis for data management use case development, data quality assessments, and supporting implementation of MDM. The MDM Analyst, acts as the liaison among internal stakeholders to analyze, document, communicate and validate business and system requirements.

We’re looking for exceptional talent from consulting or industry to join us. You would typically:
- Serve as the conduit between the functional stakeholders and MDM delivery team.
- Support the product owner in defining high value capabilities and drafting user stories
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, data analysis, requirements workshops, use case development and validation, business analysis while aligning your approach with the broader team and MDM Product Owner. ·
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details.
- Analyze and document existing data used as inputs & outputs to business processes.
- Develop functional specifications and system design specifications.
- Recommend and validate data quality rules to be developed based on analysis.
- Leverage Informatica Data Quality to profile master data and document findings using standard template
- Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
- Assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks.
- Contribute to the testing and debugging of new releases or enhancements.
- Create training materials and documentation for users and train new end users.
- Contribute to our Agile team with a transparency and continuous improvement mindset, communicating clearly and openly
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Skills and experience we are looking for
- BA in Computer Science, Business, or related field ·
- 5+ years’ relevant experience in Data / Business Analysis
- Experience with Data Profiling and Data Quality Assessments, preferably with Informatica Data Quality tools.
- Experience with Master Data Management solutions for operational and analytical use cases, preferably with Informatica Master Data Management SaaS Platform
- Ability to perform data analysis using SQL/Excel and the ability to direct technical team members in more complex data analysis. Python and more advanced data analysis capabilities is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib a plus · Ability to create and execute QA test plans with engineering support. Experience with test management tools such as Zephyr a plus
- Good understanding and experience of broader Data topics and capabilities such as Data Governance, Data Catalog, Data Analytics
- Exceptional communications and stakeholder management skills, able to bridge business-tech discussions and requirements
- Experience in consulting is a plus
