We are looking for a Digital Analyst who is adept at various tag management solutions (TMS) and analytics tag implementation (client-side & server-side) collecting user behavioral data. This role includes from-the-scratch analytics platform implementation, re-implementation, ad-hoc implementation and implementation audits for various clients. This role works towards understanding client’s requirement, identifying website/mobile app use cases, creating necessary technical specifications documents (SDRs), implementing & validating tags, applying best practices, assisting clients in resolving GA related issues faced.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand client’s analytics requirements, translate that into executable technical projects, design the technical architecture, implement the analytics tags, and deliver the work
- Able to create analytics tags using tag management solutions GTM (Google Tag Manager)
- Interact with various stakeholders like clients, employees & management (both domestic and international).
- Able to solely manage client without or with minimal supervision
- Able to document Solution Design Reference (SDRs), technical specifications documents, tag collection guides, data layer recommendations etc.,
- Investigate any discrepancy in the Google Analytics reports and identify the implementation issue and fix it
- Able to employ best practices in tagging and able to validate tags
- Able to work on JavaScript, ES6, jQuery functions, HTML, CSS to capture required data from the webpage
- Scoping a measurement plan for stakeholder requirement
Requirements:
- Any Bachelor/Master’s engineering degree (BE/BTech/MTech or MCA)
- 2-3 years of digital analytics work experience
- In-depth knowledge and experience of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Strong Tag Validation and Reports Validation skills
- Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational/time management skills
- Delivering training sessions on web analytics tools to stakeholders
- Mobile Analytics Implementation experience is an added advantage
- Knowledge of digital marketing eco-system
- Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills
- Good to have:
- Other Tag management systems, particularly Tealium, Ensighten, and DTM/Launch
- SQL and using BigQuery and Google Cloud, or other data warehouse tools
