Who are we and what we do?
Brainwired is an agritech startup based out of Kochi, which has developed a livestock health monitoring, and tracking system named WeSTOCK, that uses an IoT ear tag and a unique ML algorithm to identify sick and pregnant livestock and alert farmers accordingly.
Mr Sreeshankar S Nair and Mr Romeo P Jerard founded the company in February 2018. Coming from an agriculture background both co-founders wanted to develop a solution to help their grandparents with their dairy farm. However, what started as a project then ended being a venture when they realized the importance of modern-day agricultural practices in the livestock sector.
WeSTOCK monitors the day-to-day activity of particular livestock and alerts farmers in case of any emergency. The whole system is highly customizable giving farmers the ability to choose from features allowing affordability and still ensuring quality. The technology being built in-house is created to support the farmers and livestock in the country. Our team has a passion for making things with real value. This has led us to assemble a multi-talented group that can do just about anything. We believe in creating a brand through strategy, story-telling, products, and integrated experiences on web, mobile, and in the world. So that we become a household name among Indian farmers, becoming a symbol of trust and quality.

Machine Learning Engineer:
Responsibilities:
1. Research, design, and build self-running MLOps pipelines to support development, experimentation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, verification/validation, and monitoring of AI/ML models
2. Research and implement ML/DL algorithms according to requirements
3. Statistical analysis and fine-tuning
4. Documenting machine learning processes, technical details
5. Data pipeline maintenance/testing
6. Monitoring the overall performance and stability of the pipeline
7. Training models and tuning their hyper-parameters
8. Build algorithms based on statistical modelling procedures and build and maintain scalable machine learning solutions in production
9. Data engineering, data transformation, data analysis and data visualization.
10. Life cycle management and monitoring of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) models in all stages leading to production.
Requirements:
1. Advanced proficiency in Python, Scala
2. Theoretical and practical understanding of machine learning algorithms
3. In-depth knowledge of algorithms like ANN, CNN, LSTM, RNN, GANs, SOMs, RBFNs, RBMs, Autoencoders, DBNs
4. Solid knowledge and understanding of concepts of maths, probability, linear algebra, statistics and algorithms
5. Familiarity with pandas, numpy, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Theano, Tensorflow, Caffe, OpenAI, Spark ML
6. Extensive knowledge of AWS, MLOps pipelines, data science, data modelling, software architecture, ELT tools
7. Efficient in messaging tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ
8. Understanding of big data technologies like Spark, Hive, Hadoop, HBase, Pig
9. Expertise in visualising and manipulating big datasets
10. Attention to detail, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, expert research skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹30,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
