We’re hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst!
As Business Intelligence Analyst you will use data warehouse and other big data repositories to support automation and delivery of accurate and insightful data to reporting & analytical applications. Learn key business needs and interact with key business stakeholders and technology partners for scalable implementations in modern reporting and analytics platforms. Facilitate delivery and consumption of advanced analytics from business, to predictive and geo-spatial needs.
What you will be doing in this role:

Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Bright Horizons proprietary customer management information systems, data warehouse and reporting and data mining tools; including all points and metrics tracked by the organization.

Support Senior Developer Analysts & Dev Analysts in collaboration with BAs, technology partners and functional managers to execute on detailed business requirements for reporting and analytical applications and projects.

Learn to convert User stories to report designs and support report and/or dashboard builds associated with data in supported systems. Document all phases of systems/projects within area of responsibility.

Support BA efforts on improving data catalogs and participate in user training and support. Support troubleshooting reporting problems and issues. Address bug/CR log using prioritization and agile methodologies.

Participate in testing activities and best practices for version iteration and release support from Dev, UAT and Prod environments.

Work with large, complex data sets and implement automated solutions that promote predictive, correlative, geo-spatial and machine learning to measure and inform on key business metrics and initiatives.
What we hope you will bring to this role:

Bachelor’s Degree Required, Preferred Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science

Experience working in analytics and ability to think critically and solve issues programmatically with different tools.

Preferred: 1-2 years experience with analytics/reporting working as a Business Analyst and/or Developer, preferably with Qlik applications or with other applications such as Power BI or Tableau.

Minimum of 3 additional years of relevant experience would be considered in lieu of the applicable degree:
-
Detail and process-oriented; able to analyze current processes, define and implement improvement.

Some knowledge of reporting/analytical applications, preferably experience in Qlik or other visual reporting applications.

Some knowledge of SQL Queries.

Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and manage small to medium scale projects or initiatives.

The compensation for this role is $62,000.
