Cloud Development Program – Jan 2023
Summary:
Brooksource has partnered with the largest health insurer in Philadelphia to build the next generation of cloud-forward leaders alongside an enterprise data migration. Graduates of this program will earn 3+ total certifications while gaining hands-on experience managing & analyzing data in a Google Cloud environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- 0-3 years’ experience writing complex queries in SQL including JOINS
- 0-3 years’ experience analyzing data in relational databases
- Exposure to Data Sourcing or Data Extraction
- Exposure to Data Warehousing concepts
- Ability to ask strong questions & elicit requirements from business stakeholders
- Ability to work independently & develop creative solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively to technical & non-technical stakeholder
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, HIM, or related field
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Mapping data from data sources to the target
- Writing complex queries in SQL to analyze data for business stakeholders
- Support Google Cloud migration activities & relational database management
- Support Information Management projects (Claims, Lab Results, Member Experience, etc.)
- Communicate with business stakeholders to elicit requirements & translate to technical requirements
- Support data science & downstream analytics teams with requested data

This program requires intensive training. While there are several bonus opportunities & incentives offered for certification training, it is ultimately a self-guided learning path, and each exam will require studying outside of a normal 40 hours work week.
