Job Detail:

We are looking for a Warranty Analyst who will report to the After Sales Manager, and who’ll be tasked with continuous improvement in warranty reporting, processes and procedures pertaining to their product group. As part of your role You’ll be conducting warranty part reviews, claims investigation, customer warranty systems corrections/updates, customer rating/scoring system/corrections/updates, and warranty cost recovery avoidance/mitigation.

You’ll Have The Opportunity To

  • Manage and enforce the Warranty process across multiple brands within MPS.
  • Review all warranty claims and requests for resolution and cost management.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions utilizing Power B.I
  • Provide management with escalation and decision path for all Performed audits of warranty claims.
  • Consult with the Quality department on procedures to avoid future warranty issues.
  • Ensure that parts are properly coded within ERP Systems.
  • Provides warranty policy training to appropriate Aftersales Team Members and dealers in the MPS network.
  • Work with Warranty Returns to assure parts are returned and inspected.
  • Ensures warranty literature and reference material is current and distributes information to appropriate staff.
  • Prepares reports, warranty campaigns, and other campaigns designed to maintain quality in the field.
  • Process all order requests from the technical team and management.
  • Performs other duties as requested by manager such as case escalations and warranty claims, dealer training regarding policy and claim filing.
  • Presentation – Report-outs to management and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Approve / Reject dealer entered claims that have been flagged for manual review daily
  • Reviews all warranty registrations weekly to verify accuracy.
  • Resolve dealer requests via phone and case system.
  • Weekly Microsoft Power BI WPI (warranty performance index) communication.
  • Assist with projects to reduce / eliminate potential warranty contributors.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required

  • HS Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in After Sales, Service, Dealers or Warranty Administration
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
