Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and energetic product analyst to assist us in recommending the best product roadmap and launch strategies to increase company profitability. The product analyst responsibilities include working closely with different departments within the company, analyzing product data to make product recommendations, interviewing customers to receive customer feedback, and compiling product data. You should be able to study products on the market in order to create a better product.
To be successful as a product analyst, you should be able to monitor product performance on the market to meet or exceed sales forecasts. A top-performing product analyst is able to ensure that product costs remain within company budgets.
The Product Analyst Uses data produced by product analytics to evaluate the experience of the users when using the product. Product analysts also identify the product’s weaknesses, and determine what needs to be done to improve the user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the company products and compare them against industry trends.
- Develop an understanding of company products to meet the company’s current and future needs.
- Provide assistance with product and rating reviews.
- Study the industry trends and forecast market behaviour.
- Develop and oversee small to medium scale projects.
- Analyze metrics to continually improve company products.
- Assist the company in achieving short and long-term goals relating to product growth.
- Work with other company departments to improve the analysis and presentation of products.
- Define and deliver product roadmaps to meet the reporting and analytic needs of the business for products assigned
- Analyse business requirements to ensure the appropriate use across our analytical products
- Responsible for formulating ways in which to package and market products in such a way that they become differentiated, compelling, easy to sell, and easy to buy.
- With the support of both the internal and external stakeholders, the Product Analyst ensures that there is compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and ethics. In addition to this, the Product Analyst ensures that third parties are in compliance and familiarity with all business processes and policies.
Skillsets:
- 3 – 6 years of overall experience and atleast 2 years of relevant
- Bachelors degree in business, economics, mathematics or any related field.
- Previous product analysis experience.
- Exposure to Product Management lifecycle and frameworks, research methodologies.
- Must have creative, visionary, and critical thinking skills. In addition to these, one must also possess excellent problem solving skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) is preferred.
- Proficient in database software and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, DOMO, Jaspersoft.
- Strong communication skills. It is also extremely important for the Product Analyst to possess great people skills and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- The ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
- The ability to balance customer needs against the companys vision.
- Excellent time management skills
- Nice to have experience in building integrations in Mortgage, HR, Insurance and Financial Services domains.
