BWXT is currently seeing a Data Science intern for its Barberton, OH location.
BWXT is seeking Interns with the responsibility for providing support in areas not limited to:
- Python and C++ coding for processing imagery and other sensor signals from instrumentation.
- Setting up analytics platforms for new data collection and SQL database support for laboratory.
- Refine Python analytic code for robust and repeatable execution, as well as improved visualization and Graphical User Interface (GUI).
- Integrate data from different sources, supporting statistical analyses and database management with SQL.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be a currently enrolled student, pursuing a degree in Computer Science.
- Proficiency with Python, C++, and SQL preferred, as well as strong mathematical coursework.
- Experience with working in LINUX/UNIX operating system environments is desired but not required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
