About the Position:
Description: The Data Science Intern position is a great opportunity for a college student looking for experience in Data Science and coding. The Intern will be working daily during the summer remotely in their home location with both the Data Science Team and the Business Intelligence Team using modern cloud computing technology. In addition, the Intern will study the FinTech Industry and learn coding skills pertinent to Data Science.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Analyze large amounts of data and develop algorithms to solve business problems that will help drive strategic business decisions
- Participate in daily meetings to add value to the project
- Work closely with the business intelligence team to find and refine data
- Harness cloud computing technology for data science
- Develop data science coding skills
- Present findings to managers and other teams
Qualifications for Success:
- Attending an accredited University or College pursing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or other related Science background.
- Some coding experience in Python or R is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the organization.
