About The Role
At CaaStle, data, analytics and data science drive our decision-making. We are looking for a Product Manager to define the data platform to analyse and leverage the rich data we collect from our users. Reporting to the Director, Product, you will have the opportunity to be critically involved during the early stages of an exciting and fast-growing company and understand all aspects of a web-based e-commerce and subscription platform.
As part of the product team, you will oversee the roadmap of Data Platform products. The products are in big data and machine learning. You have a demonstrated customer obsession and simplification.
What You’ll Do
Define the data platform to support new business models in the subscription business
- Lead the data strategy of dataset designs that unlocks analytics capabilities for B2C and B2B business models
- Develop frameworks for instrumentation, attribution, and reporting across multiple channels
- Define intuitive UX for getting insights and enable reporting key metrics for core programs across the business
- Integrate data from production and third-party SaaS system into downstream data warehousing environments for consumption by analytics tools, products, data scientists, and analysts Lead instrumentation and dataset creation for our Data Science team, collaborating closely with business teams
We’d Love For You To Have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering
- MBA or Masters in a technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Management role, preferably for an e-commerce or subscription business focusing on Data.
- Hands-on experience and proficiency with big data systems (Hadoop, Spark, Impala, etc.) and data related programming languages (SQL & Python)
- Knowledge of data pipeline design, understanding of integration and data transformation standard methodologies
- Experience with web analytics; previous experience with instrumentation and A/B testing a plus
- Prioritization and project/ program management skills, including timely and proactive communications.
- Deep analytical abilities, and an ability to drive action to influence peers, executives and see projects through to timely completion in an agile environment
