CAB WORDLWIDE LLC – STRATEGIC BUSINESS ANALYST

CAB Worldwide LLC is searching for an experienced Strategic Business Analyst with exceptional analytical and Excel skills to join our team. CAB is a privately held global business based in Buford, Georgia. CAB has manufacturing and distribution operations in Texas and Washington and engineering and quality assurance offices in India and China. CAB provides strategic sourcing, manufacturing and engineering solutions, including vendor managed inventory programs, with a particular focus on precision machined steel and aluminum cast and forged parts for a variety of industries including hydraulics, automotive, infrastructure, construction and rail. CAB is growing quickly through focused sales efforts and an expanding base of suppliers internationally.

In this newly created position, the Business Analyst is expected to be a key role and would work closely with the management team across all functions of the business, including finance, sales, supply chain and operations. The Business Analyst would develop critical analysis and comprehensive Excel models to better manage customer demand planning, supply chain production planning and inventory turnover.

The first priority in this position will be to build effective inventory management models and work with the team to closely monitor and manage inventory flow. Over time, this position would expand to help build new overall financial models that will be used in financial analysis of various aspects of the business.

The role will require analytical skills, attention to detail and strategic thinking ability as the Business Analyst assists management across each of the above functions in developing critical analytical frameworks and associated metrics that will enable management to grow the business intelligently.

Core Responsibilities:

· Support CFO in analyzing, developing and maintaining reports across key functions:

− Inventory and other working capital management

− Pricing and profitability across all the Company’s active products

− Forecasting and budgeting

· Support Head of Sales in developing and maintaining key databases

− Analyzing new sales opportunities to determine pricing and viability of new projects

− Maintain detailed demand projections for entire customer base

· Support Operational Heads in developing and maintaining CAB’s international supplier database

· Support CEO on discrete research and other analysis to inform company strategic direction into the future

Qualifications:

· 5 years of experience in FP&A, data analyst or other business analyst role

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Engineering or a similar area

· Strong accounting, financial analysis and research skills.

· Exceptional Excel modeling skills and attention to detail

· Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word

· Deep intellectual curiosity, creativity and an innate willingness and eagerness to learn

· Demonstrated analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, quality and completeness

· Superior analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects

· Strong work ethic and proactive approach

· Desire to work on a small team in a high-standards environment with motivated professionals

Compensation and Other:

· This position would be onsite during initial 12-18 months, but after models are implemented, it is expected that working from home a couple days a week may be agreeable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
