What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is looking for a Business Systems Analyst Business Systems Analyst to support a FOIA case management solution who ideally has experience supporting functional changes in a cloud environment. This position involves working in support of development teams using Agile principles and a Scrum process. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for managing the customer’s business requirements and ensuring the products produced meet those requirements by validating the product. They participate in planning, design, implementation, deployment and testing of software. Based on analysis, they make recommendations and advise on system improvements, automation, and risk management. They interface with developers to ensure they have a clear understanding of the requirements. They also develop system and user documentation as well as other training materials as appropriate to support adoption and use of the system.


More About the Role

  • Serves as a resource for gathering, validating, analyzing, and documenting the stated business requirements, and the creation of the user stories, requirements specifications, and reports.

  • Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.

  • Perform reporting tasks on an ad hoc basis and other information as requested.

  • Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.

  • Support Subject Matter Experts across the software development life cycle.

  • Work with a team of other testers to create, document, and execute test cases.

  • Works with JIRA and Confluence.

  • Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) by assessing business process and system inefficiencies.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizen

  • Undergraduate Degree Required and 5 or more years of experience

  • Works independently with general supervision

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to solve difficult and complex problems and issues effectively with guidance

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with software development lifecycle.

  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in the Agile Framework

  • Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff)


These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience with FOIA Case Management

  • Providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices

  • Ability to write and execute JIRA queries

  • Experience with Section 508 (WCAG) web accessibility

  • Familiarity with creating manual test scripts

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $79,000-$161,900. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
