Position Overview
The Data Analyst will help our team build massively scalable consumer systems for clean energy. The Analyst will help with data direction for all engineering solutions at Hanwha Q Cells and will also lead the way in building systems to data platform and data focused organization. The duties and responsibilities of a data analyst include more than collecting and analyzing data. They also must make this data accessible to those who need the information to streamline business processe s.
Responsibilities
- Uses programs to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns;
- Organizes and transforms information into comprehensible structures;
- Uses analytical data to predict trends in the customer data as a whole and performs statistical analysis of data;
- Uses tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs;
- Prepares reports and effectively presents to management and clients;
- Identifies and recommends new ways to save money by streamlining business processes;
- Monitors data quality and removes corrupt data;
- Communicates with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements;
- Documents data requirements and enables data access to business owners through products such as ERP, CRM, and other applications.
REQUIREMENT
- At least two years of experience as a data analyst using analytics software and platforms;
- Sound knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as AWS and/or GCP;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present reports and documents to leadership and to junior members of the team;
- Critical and strategic thinking skills;
- Ability to prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues, and activities;
- 2 years of Tableau Experience;
- Strong SQL Skills;
- Experience in building Tableau Dashboards;
- Hands-on experience with SQL database design;
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Cloud Data Services;
- Experience with Data Modeling software;
- Experience with CRM and other such software applications;
- Understanding of Data usage and data requirements;
- BS degree in Engineering or Math.
