Job Description:
Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding internship opportunity in a fast-paced environment. This paid internship is a hands-on opportunity with the Data Services team in Information Technology at Cambria’s office in Belle Plaine, MN for the summer of 2023. As a Data Science intern, you will work with a variety of tools and data sets to assist in analysis across the enterprise. In this role you will work with key stakeholders across the organization, and will gain valuable insight to many areas of the business.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, Reporting Tools, or Tableau
- Has taken coursework that is related to Data Analytics, Forecasting, or Statistics
- General technical knowledge
- Understanding of working in an Agile delivery methodology
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Become proficient with a variety of tools
- Capable of gaining knowledge on a topic with minimal direction given
- Document and test software applications
- Learn areas of the business to enhance analytical skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Effectively communicate to team members, peers, and business stakeholders
- Have effective interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation and time management skills
- Must be able to adapt to new situations, changing priorities and new applications
- Ability to work in highly diversified teams with strong interpersonal skills
- Make a final presentation to company leadership
- Think critically about how the company can improve analytically
- Assist with development of the predictive analytics practice
- Ability to anticipate and communicate potential problems while determining solutions
- Must have the ability to work under pressure but continue to think clearly and provide support or guidance to team members during difficult processes and schedules
Travel Requirements: Occasional local travel to other Cambria entities in Southern Minnesota and Southwestern Suburbs
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and successfully meet deadlines
- Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited university. Sophomore year completed
