Practice Overview:
The Customer First Practice within Capgemini’s Insights and Data Group helps clients to evolve and transform what they offer, how they operate, and how they acquire, engage and retain their customers using Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. We aim to help clients across various industries generate growth by becoming a Customer Centric Data-driven Organizations. Our audiences notably include CMO, CDO, CEO or Chief Experience Officers.
What you will do:
You will work with colleagues from across the firm to help companies multiply their growth via implementing best-in-class agile marketing and personalization, enabled by data and technology. You will apply your distinctive level of subject matter expertise to shape CxO level agenda on digital marketing and growth by developing specific marketing strategies and transformation initiatives that accelerate customer acquisition and customer value across channels.
Leveraging your expertise, you’ll help to advance Capgemini’s overall knowledge base by contributing to and expanding our diagnostic and assessment toolkit and approaches. You will also develop new frameworks, approaches and techniques in addition to building on existing ones.

Martech & Digital Marketing Customer Data Platform (CDP) Data Engineer – Customer First:

The Customer First Practice within Capgemini’s Insights and Data Group helps clients to evolve and transform what they offer, how they operate, and how they acquire, engage and retain their customers using Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. We aim to help clients across various industries generate growth by becoming a Customer Centric Data-driven Organizations. Our audiences notably include CMO, CDO, CEO or Chief Experience Officers.
Responsibilities:

  • Big Data developers with 6 to 8 years hands-on experience in building data pipeline applications. Data science modeling and analytics support tools in AWS.
  • Build and maintain high-performance, scalable data pipelines to transform large volumes of data into information for operational and financial decision making
  • Perform continuous integration to ensure that every step of a data pipeline is testable and automated
  • Propose and implement technical solutions and mentor colleagues
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions
  • Understand and anticipate business needs and address issues reported by customers
  • Be accountable for your work
Required Skills/Experience:

  • Intermediate knowledge of programming languages (Python/R/Java).
  • Experience with Hadoop/Hive/Hbase/Pig/Spark.
  • Experience with Apache Flink.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL (Vertica/Postgres/Oracle/AWS Redshift/MySQL).
  • Experience with Unix/Linux environment.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud-based environments.
  • Experience with AWS SageMaker
  • Experience with ETL workflow processes and tools.
  • Experience creating and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Experience working on data-driven products.
Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering preferred
  • Prior experience in a related analytics or developer role, digital advertising or media experience
  • Experience with Airflow
  • Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience working with business and IT lead from client side

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment. Software Engineers perform requirements analysis. They then design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Software Engineer also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and/or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments.
Required Skills and Experience:
You have mastered several Software Engineering areas, applications or database environments. You act as a Software Engineering stream leader with technical delivery ownership within a (limited) number of technology areas. You contribute to bids or client proposals based on your technological expertise. You also act as a team leader with delivery ownership, and guide individuals and groups towards desired outcomes. You actively participate in at least one community and contribute to community discussions.
  • Qualification: 6-8 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Certification: Should have SE Level 1 and seeking level 2.
  • Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Data Management, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
