As a Data Engineer in our Data Operations group, you will contribute to the production, operations and support of large-scale, critical, and complex data architecture, storage, and pipelines. You will oversee and ensure our mission-critical enterprise distributed data processing systems and data lakes, optimizing both computational and storage efficiencies on cloud platforms are operating efficiently and reliably.

You have a bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Your background includes a minimum of 7 years’ experience in data engineering and data architecture utilizing databases such as SQL and DDD/ER/ORM design (i.e., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL). You also write and optimize advanced SQL queries with large-scale, complex datasets

You have demonstrated production support/triaging experience in production environments and operations

You have experience in analyzing, communicating, and coordinating complex issues across multiple teams [TC(1]

You have coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as: R, Python, Ruby, Java, etc.

You have exposure to cloud-first design, preferably AWS (VPC, Serverless databases and functions, dynamic autoscaling, container orchestration, etc.)

You have experience in analyzing, communicating, and coordinating complex issues across multiple teams

You have considerable technical and analytical abilities with business acumen and leadership skills. You’re ready to transfer your knowledge and be a valued resource to others

You have investment industry knowledge in key areas such as Returns, Fixed Income, Equity, AUM (preferred)
