The Data Scientist will understand and utilize healthcare data to define, develop, and implement solutions for business decisions. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytical software, big data, and machine learning techniques to drive initiatives and identify opportunities for patients to safely heal within the home. You are required to have a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and determine opportunities to apply CareCentrix’s business model and values to challenge historical trends of facility-based care. You will identfiy opportunities to heal at home using mathematical and statistical findings, and provide that information business partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Develop relevant technologies and applications within the healthcare space using machine learning and big data analytics.
- Be proficient with data warehouse tables and have the ability to manipulate multiple tables to create analytically-ready datasets.
- Collaborate and guide the business in operationalizing advanced technologies within their business processes.
- Develop data science products that support the delivery of additional healthcare services in the comfort of the patient’s home.
- Provide detailed, accurate, and timely updates on current activities to all leaders and stakeholders.
- Deliver on the yearly assigned personal and departmental objectives to support the yearly corporate objectives.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Attend industry conferences, forums, and workshops, providing key information back to the organization.
Qualifications:
You should reach out if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science within the areas of Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or other advanced technology fields
- 2-5 years experience in technology, data, and information
- 2-5 Years experience working with Big Data and managing Big Data environments
- Advanced SQL skills required. Vertical experience preferred.
- Intermediate Python Skills, R, or other similar programs
- Understanding of commercial and open source tools for end-to-end enterprise data management
- Knowledge of Machine Learning Techniques
