Job Detail:
The Business Systems Analyst will act as a single point of contact for entire tech stack. The Business Systems Analyst will be expected to gain a strong technical understanding of the Bullhorn application, Microsoft’s Power Platform, other systems that Aboldco uses throughout the different brands, as well as a strong understanding of Aboldco’s business and business processes to deliver on user setup and configuration request, upcoming product enhancements, and integration initiatives for these applications.
The Business Systems Analyst will gather business and functional requirements in support of Enterprise initiatives, will provide project coordination with the delivery and engineering of these initiatives, and will be responsible for testing the various applications to ensure the quality of delivery to various customers within Aboldco
Role and Responsibilities
- Utilize Career Start standard processes, tools, and approaches to support implementation.
- Work with development and testing teams to validate a thorough understanding of project requirements.
- Manage and report on project statuses including timelines, any issues, risks, and potential mitigation strategies.
- Develop a broad knowledge of Career Start’s initiatives and services
- Coordinate ongoing application support and release management activities
- Maintain a product backlog of all incoming enterprise application requests including –configuration changes, Bugs, Feature requests or enhancements, Training requests.
- Executing on the prioritized Back log either through your own system knowledge or coordinating with development and testing resources.
- Evaluate business and functional requirements that require customizations or enhancements to existing products and systems.
- Thoroughly testing all new application releases prior to them being released into a production environment
- Managing the Control Panel– set up and management of workflows, notifications, custom fields, email templates, permissions, custom reports, dashboards, etc.
Provision new resources to enterprise applications and validating their system access levels.
Identify and assist in the development and training requirements for new hires.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience with low code automation (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate, Herefish) preferred
- 1-3 years of experience with enterprise recruiting systems or CRM (e.g., Bullhorn, Sales Force) preferred
- Experience with JavaScript or Python preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply application knowledge to suggest appropriate solutions
- The ability to lead initiatives and overcome obstacles to achieve Career Start’s business objectives
- Strong decision-making skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills including an extreme attention to detail
- Working knowledge of development methodologies, requirements gathering processes and testing processes
- Desired (not required): Experience in leading and facilitating business needs assessments and requirements gathering sessions
- Desired (not required): Experience developing, coordinating, and executing test plans for both Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing efforts
