Job Purpose and Impact
The Plant Floor Systems Business Analyst to support projects maintaining, integrating, and implementing software applications and processes, working closely with business users and the technical development team. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying, and documenting project requirements, and defining project scope. You may also assist in recommending non-technical process improvements, leading user training, facilitating discussions with cross-functional teams, and coordinating project implementations.
Key Accountabilities
- Translate business requirements into system requirements, capture and prioritize enhancements, support defect resolutions, and implement changes to applications and business processes.
- Conduct application testing, and validation of development acceptance criteria prior to deployments.
- Analyze business requirements, document and communicate detailed current and future state processes, and prepare detailed business specifications for applications.
- Provides input into the strategy and direction of business processes and applications, recommend solution options, and participate in project prioritization.
- Effectively manage small projects, enforce deadlines, and drive efforts through phases of development cycle.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Experience with email, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and ask clarifying questions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing projects
- Experience creating process and system documentation
- Knowledge of SQL queries

The work schedule is: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
